The story behind Anderson Locksmiths — the people, the workshop, and the values that have kept us on speed dial for thousands of San Antonio families.
Anderson Locksmiths was started in 2008 by Clevola B. Polk out of a single van parked behind a small workshop on Kepler Drive. Fifteen years later, the workshop is still on Kepler Drive — we just added a few more vans, a lot more inventory, and a team of technicians who share the same standards Clevola set on day one.
We did not grow through advertising. We grew because the woman down the street told the woman across the street that a locksmith actually showed up, actually explained what he was doing, and actually charged what he quoted. That word-of-mouth is the entire business plan, and we protect it fiercely.
Today we run a fleet of fully stocked vans, hold a state locksmith license, carry a million dollars of liability coverage, and answer our own phone at three in the morning. The workshop is still the workshop. The name on the door is still Anderson.
We open locks. We do not drill them out unless it is genuinely the only option, and we tell you before we do.
You get a price before we start work. That price does not change unless the job changes and you agree.
If we are going to be late, you hear from the technician directly — not a dispatcher.
